DescriptionLexan* Thermoclear* Multiwall polycarbonate sheeting is available in a range of colours and gauges for use in a wide range of commercial, industrial and domestic applications. Light weight, easy installation, excellent thermal insulation and solar properties make Lexan* Thermoclear* sheet and attractive and very cost effective alternative to glass.The Kelvin value for 8mm Thermoclear* Multiwall is 3.3 and for 10mm 3.0. Thicker sheets have still lower K-values. Both sides of the sheet have co-extruded UV protection to provide high resistance to yellowing and the damaging effects of UV radiation. This feature eliminates the problem of sheets being installed with an unprotected surface exposed to the weather with resultant UV damage. Angle cuts can be reversed, so there is also an economic gain when cutting requirements are high.
