 Purlins need to be 900mm or less on roofs or 1200mm on walls Screws should be placed every two crests on edges and every two or three on intermediate purlins, minimums distance from end 50 mm. It is important not to over-tighten the screws as this will fracture the roof. A flattened washer indicates over tightening. DO NOT over drill screw holes - Easiroll screws drill their own holes. Fibreglass has very little movement compared to polycarbonate or PVC. Protect the roof with 200mm x 20mm boards while screwing down. DO NOT walk on unprotected roof. To prevent roof from deterioration, clean surface with mild detergent and water. DO NOT waterblast. Easiroll will not take any responsibility for inadequate supporting structures or incorrectly installed or maintained roofs. |
